Check out The EyeStop. Developed by the students at MIT's SENSEable City Lab. This bus stop was designed to draw attract who aren't drawn to the appeal of Mass transit. This highly interactive bus stop allows users to view local weather, Check bus times, plan trips and even allows you to update your Facebook status while you wait. Whats even better about this bus stop other than it's sleek modern design is that its not going to suck a single watt from the grid because its all powered by Solar panels!
